Contract Bargaining- Last October, amid the Coronavirus Pandemic SEIU Local 668 and Interact Management decided to extend the current contract for one year. That deadline is fast approaching, and we will be heading back to the bargaining table with management.

From past negotiations, we have learned that shops with a strong membership and active member leaders are how we get management's attention! Shops with a strong membership show the employer they are serious. Contract Bargaining Survey- Before contract negotiations start, we need to know what is most important to you and your co-workers. Please fill out this short Interact Bargaining Survey and let us know what issues are important to you and what concerns we can bring to the bargaining table.

We need to show our strength during this contract negotiation, and we can only do that by making sure everyone is a dues-paying member. If you don't sign a membership card, we can't share negotiations updates with you, and you won't be able to fill out the survey.

Become a shop leader- Management will not take us seriously as a union if we do not have a strong presence in the workplace. You can change that by becoming a shop steward. A shop steward ensures the contract is enforced and represents members in labor-management meetings. Another way to lead your shop is by being part of the contract negotiation team. We need a strong group of member leaders across the table from Interact during our collective bargaining sessions.
