The General Assembly in Harrisburg directly impacts our members' jobs and the services they provide for the communities they serve.
We advocate for a budget that funds social services and legislation that benefits working families. We fight cuts to social safety net programs and legislation that negatively impact workers. Members assist with this process by:

• Visiting their elected official's and discussing policies that impact the services they provide to the community;
• Writing letters to the editor or an Opinion piece about policy issues;
  Attending rallies in Harrisburg at the Capitol Building or in their local areas;
• Donating to the Committee on Political Education (COPE);
• Participating in regional endorsement committees
